RME Audio Plug-in (Madi-SFP-MM) - Professional Digital Audio Interface for Studio Recording & Live Performance

The MADI SFP, Multi-Mode Module, extends compatible RME devices with an optical SFP transceiver. Featuring up to 64 audio channels, audio signals can be sent to and received from other MADI devices without a hassle. The module is available in a Multi-Mode and Single-Mode variant indicated on the module, either as MM or SM, for ease of use. Since the light transmission and required cabling differs, multi-mode modules are most reliable with other multi-mode MADI devices. The same applies to single-mode, which is less common in MADI systems. The SFP module accepts fiber optic cables with LC (Lucent Connector), which provides the perfect fit for high-density connections. Furthermore, as most MADI devices require SC (Square Connectors), this module comes with an adapter cable and SC-SC coupler, which allows the use of existing MADI cables for an unbeatable performance!

The module can be inserted and removed while an RME MADI device is powered on, and powering down the device is not necessary

Features a 2 m fiber optic cable that is resistant to various outside forces and traditionally faster than a typical copper cabling

Custom built with a Lucent Connector (LC) to quickly convert these modules from a simplex connector to a duplex connector with the use of a clip

Includes a 1 pc female SC to female SC coupler so you can easily use the device where each connector is accessible

Insert the MADI optical cable through the MADI output on the left and the input on the right of the module
